I N   T H E   C I T Y

yesterday was our last day in the big city so we walked through the sunday farmers market that went on for many blocks filled with rugs, good food and random treasures. we walked and walked and walked and now my legs might just pop off. 

 

 

i think walking through central park was my favorite 

now that we are back at hannahs house we are going to explore more around the smaller towns

only 3 days left

today is our first day in the city

we took the train over from west hamptons and then walked all through the town.

tonight we are staying at the ace hotel which is so amazing inside the pictures dont give it justice. 

tonight we are headed to a place called toshis where i will be ordering a huge bowl of mac and cheese and my first drink at midnight.

tomorrow we are headed to time square...my feet are throbbing just thinking about it. i should have brought something else besides my urban outfitter flats where the soles are slowly peeling away...the super glue seems to be holding up though. my father in law would be shaking his head right now. ha

ohhh and i have to tell you this toasted marshmallow shake it to die for! i probably didnt need a large but i regret nothing.

currently for our trip chad and i have been residing in the west hampton's where my sister lives. we have been taking it easy going on long bike rides and strolling through all the little towns here and there. today hannah had the day off so we went to love lane, a very tiny street with adorable little shops and an amazing restaurant called love lane kitchen. we visited a few pumpkin patches and a bakery.

we also spotted a turtle and a butterfly or two

 on our adventures we stumbled upon a small farm that grows hoppes for beer so we snapped a few photos there too. 

aren't chad and i so precious? hehe

tomorrow we are headed to the big city to walk around. i will keep you updated until then...

N E W   Y O R K

in case you havent guessed it by now chad and i are heading to the big apple next tuesday for our two year anniversary! we are both extremely excited and keep talking about how we cant wait to just get on a plane.

and these two mighty fine ladies are my lovely sisters

we will be visiting my sister hannah who just moved there with her new husband a few months ago. hollaaaa for families living out of state. my other sister courtney wants to move to italy (cross my fingers so i have a place to visit eek!) 

we both cant believe two years have gone by already and yet......there are times where so much has happened in between that we are almost surprised it hasnt been more then two years. its a weird feeling and that probably wont make any sense. its late. i shouldnt be writing.

we dont have any big plans while we are out there. i think we are just winging it as we go. chad and i are terrible at planning things. one thing is for certain i will be heading to the big city with my sister hannah so she can come with me to order my first drink because thats right folks ill be the big 21 next sunday. in the mean time i will keep you posted on NYC related things. until then
